The refurbishment of Muro, Vine Street includes the reception and five office floors. about retaining valuable elements and enhancing the space with thoughtful design, demonstrating that you don't always need to start from scratch to achieve high quality results.
Located on the site of a section of Roman Wall on Vine Street near Tower Hill.
The focus of this project was to ‘curate’ a design which would work with the existing condition. Our aim was to minimise wastage and with a new vision, begin to sculpt the necessary space.
The existing reception space contained a change in level, messy lighting layout, mis-match materials. We proposed to delineate the space into a cafe space alongside a traditional reception area. The cafe can also function as an informal meeting or workspace, making it an extension of the office spaces above. Making the reception a more attractive space to spend time both activates the street frontage and provides a useful asset for the offices above.
